General summary

Assists with the management of athletic ticket office operations.

Major duties

  • Manages ticket distribution operations for the athletic ticket office, including renewing, allocating and distributing season tickets, donor parking, game day sales, recruits, player will-call list and student staff. Implements ticket distribution policies according to University and athletic conference rules and regulations.
  • Processes and deposits ticket revenues in compliance with University policies. Reconciles accounts, performs interdepartmental transfers and general journal entries. Oversees ticket office budget.
  • Processes, records, collects and audits camp revenues. Communicates, reports and coordinates with coaches. Administers camp revenue and registration information.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises staff and student employees. Develops schedules, provides training, resolves operational issues.
  • May evaluate student-athlete and NCAA compliance issues.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years' relevant experience.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic accounting concepts.
  • Experience with accounting systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of constituents.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
