Director Finance and Infrastructure

Directs a division on financial planning, budgeting, capital and infrastructure planning and policy matters.

• Advises a division on financial planning and infrastructure planning and policy. Develops and oversees a regulated funds strategy, capital and infrastructure projects and related accounts. Provides consultation in development of implementation strategies.
• Develops project plans, timelines and resolves operational issues. Hires and collaborates with external partners.
• Monitors department and project budgets to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Analyzes trends and predicts capital costs. Monitors higher education, industry and market trends to ensure competitiveness.
• Evaluates new and current business strategies that support student recruitment and retention and utilization of auxiliary services. Researches and recommends process improvement strategies.
• Oversees the administration of contracts. Monitors and evaluates contractual relationships. Collaborates with the purchasing department to develop proposals.
• Implements and participates in the planning and strategy development for housing and dining facilities. Develops and coordinates the annual deferred maintenance project planning cycle.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises staff.

• Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

• Eight years' relevant experience.
• Professional accounting or financial experience.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
