General summary

Directs and executes the undergraduate master communication plan in the University’s admissions office.

Major duties

  • Directs and manages the undergraduate recruitment master communication plan, inclusive of all current and future target audience plans. Develops, implements, measures and evaluates the strategy.
  • Oversees the content and visual elements of digital spaces, including admissions, recruitment, webpages, e-mail messages and social media.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to support marketing campaigns, enrollment strategies, plans, tactics and overall effectiveness of recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Directs the production of print publications in coordination with Marketing and Strategic Communications, mailing partners and the U.S. Postal Service.
  • Writes, proofreads and edits all outgoing communication items.
  • Manages the budget associated with all recruitment, marketing and communication items.
  • Supervises a graduate assistant.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
