General summary
Coordinates all parking meter, parking lot and sign installation and maintenance.
Major duties
- Supervises the installation and repair of parking meters.
- Oversees the collection, counting and preparation of records for payments collected from parking meters.
- Manages maintenance, repair, cleaning and painting of parking lots.
- Oversees all parking signs on campus. Oversees sign making, ordering and inventory control, installation and cleaning of signs.
- May assist in vehicle maintenance and equipment repair.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required experience
- One year's relevant experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding signage.
Physical requirements
Light work with some physical demands such as continuously lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds, but rarely moving more than 25 to 50 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is performed with exposure to any number of elements which may occasionally require some precautions such as safety glasses, protective clothing, ear protection, etc.
