General summary

Builds collaborative early college programs in regions served by the University.

Major duties

  • Plans and creates University early college programs at regional locations. Forms new, sustainable, and strong relationships between the University, other colleges and universities, employers, and K-12 partners.
  • Collaborates with school districts and communities to maximize opportunities, outcomes, and scalability.
  • Creates systems of support for early college students to ensure their success at the University.
  • Designs, creates, and manages content of online and hybrid soft skills courses for early college students. Ensures appropriate delivery of courses.
  • Assesses, evaluates, and reports on success, retention, and conversion of students.
  • Identifies grant opportunities, writes proposals, and administers awarded funds.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience with K-12 or early middle college administration.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
