General summary
Manages multiple evaluation projects and programs.
Major duties
- Serves as project manager for evaluation of grants, contracts and projects, including managing daily operations, providing direction, strategic planning, resource allocation and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Conducts evaluation studies including design, data collection, follow-up, data entry and data analysis.
- Writes reports and develops project-related products such as brochures and newsletters. Manages external review process for project developed materials. Contributes to academic articles and presentations. Presents at national conferences.
- Manages a quarterly newsletter, including planning, editing, distributing writing assignments to internal and external contributors, providing feedback and interfacing with the printing vendor.
- Coordinates national webinar series, including managing logistics, assisting with content and graphics and ensuring timely delivery.
- May develop and oversee program budgets. Assists with funding proposals and annual reports. Ensures compliance with University and funding agency requirements.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Experience with evaluation or applied research projects.
- Experience with statistical analysis software.
- Experience creating charts, tables, and other visual presentations of information using Microsoft Office.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
