General summary

Oversees student recruitment and yield activities in order to support institutional enrollment goals and priorities.

Major duties

  • Manges, coordinates, evaluates and develops comprehensive training for department’s team members. Develops training calendar, sessions and materials to ensure tools and information throughout the enrollment cycle.
  • Leads the team that develops, oversees and evaluates campus visit initiatives. Directs team members’ goals and objects for admission events and campus visits. Implements improvements and new initiatives for prospective students, families and influencers.
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other institutional resources to capture and analyze campus visit data to assess an evaluate campus tour and event programming, positively contributing to the University’s new student recruitment and enrollment goals.
  • Collaborates with other department leaders to develop goals and objectives for each admission event and the campus visit program. Provides campus colleagues with data, direction and goals related to admissions.
  • Manages training for team members and develops training plans to ensure knowledge and success throughout the enrollment cycle.
  • Ensures quality customer service delivery in a timely manner.
  • Manages the department’s budget for all campus visit initiatives, transfer recruitment and yield. Reports on return on investment.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.
  • Experience in admissions, recruitment, student services or related field.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with technology and database applications.

Required other

  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extend hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
