General summary

Oversees and implements project data management for the University's Science and Mathematics Program Improvement.

Major duties

  • Implements and oversees data management of specified projects related to grant and contract-funded evaluation and research projects
  • Ensures grant and contract specifications are in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepares reports by compiling and analyzing data.
  • Develops instruments and procedures for surveys, interviews, observations and other data collection.
  • Communicates with external clients in implementing grants, contracts and disseminating results. Responds to client inquiries and requests.
  • Assists senior researchers in implementing projects and preparing grant and contract proposals.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year's relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
