General summary

Provides guidance and oversight for the development, integration and identification of system and process improvement for Extended University Program’s instructional and operational systems.

Major duties

  • Leads cross-functional development, coordination, implementation and post-implementation support for Extended University Program’s instructional and operational systems.
  • Collaborates with internal and external program clients in order to drive adoption of emerging technologies, capability improvements and cost reductions.
  • Leads the creation and development of systems, content and processes guided by best practices and alignment with institutional and unit goals.
  • Monitors, evaluates and facilitates governance activities of the learning management system and non-credit systems.
  • Provides administrative oversight of the University’s learning management system. Identifies efficiencies and recommends improvements.
  • Manages the integration process of the program and institutional systems.
  • Develops, maintains and facilitates regular training programs for staff and stakeholders on the use of systems and applications.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Instructional design experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with Americans with Disabilities Act interpretation and compliance.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
