General summary
Oversees the University’s integrated program review process that supports evidence-based planning and continuous quality improvement of academic and learner-support programs.
Major duties
- Oversees the creation, development, implementation, management, evaluation, and modification of internal program review processes guided by best practices and alignment with the goals of the institution and the higher learning commission.
- Assists with data collection, analysis, and reporting for institutional effectiveness initiatives, including regional and specialized program accreditation, strategic planning, and integrated program review.
- Oversees training and communications regarding integrated program review and specialized program accreditation. Develops standard operating procedures and training materials for report writers and reviewers. Serves as an internal consultant during regional and program-level reaccreditation processes.
- Drafts policies and procedures related to conducting integrated program review and reporting of specialized program accreditation endeavors.
- Oversees the strategic planning efforts dedicated to institutional effectiveness.
- Represents department on institutional cross-collaborative standing and ad hoc committees.
- Develops and monitors budgets, projects expenditures, reconciles accounts, and provides input in financial decisions specific to relating institutional effectiveness resources to the institution’s, division’s, and office’s mission and goals.
- Hires, Trains, evaluates and supervises student employees.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Project management skills.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
