General summary
Revises and publishes the undergraduate and graduate course catalogs electronically. Maintains academic program and graduation requirements for the University degree audit software.
Major duties
- Edits the undergraduate and graduate course catalogs, ensuring that they are up to date with all curriculum changes, including all changes to courses, programs and graduation requirements.
- Coordinates the annual audit of all catalog pages in collaboration with faculty and staff.
- Manages the final steps of the curriculum review process that creates, deletes and modifies courses, programs and graduation requirements. Ensures compliance with University academic and curriculum policies and procedures
- Maintains and resolves issues with the student information system and the University’s degree audit software, including general navigation, schedule building and student issues with admission and registration.
- Publishes undergraduate and graduate course catalogs yearly.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- One year's relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the student information system, the University’s degree audit software, business intelligence and performance management software, web content management system and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of the curriculum process in the University setting.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
