General summary

Manages and implements existing and new web applications, website projects and software developments.

Major duties

  • Manages the designing, planning, implementation and maintenance of existing and new technology projects. Oversees implementation timelines and processes.
  • Develops, implements and oversees policies, procedures, technology standards, and short and long-term goals. Identifies and implements best practices.
  • Develops and implements action plans for resource enhancement.
  • Supervises contractors responsible for web development, web design and database management needs. Prioritizes tasks, duties and projects.
  • Trains, evaluates and supervises support staff.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Project management experience.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
