General summary

Performs development data research, data validation and maintains data integrity.

Major duties

  • Builds and maintains electronic files of profiles and biographies of donors and prospects.
  • Responds to reactive research requests from staff providing information of prospective donors.
  • Analyzes prospect management system records.
  • Runs standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Reviews report output for accuracy.
  • Documents requirements for standard and ad hoc analyses and reports.
  • Prepares data for data analysis, including ensuring confidentiality, preparing and formatting data, combining data sets and troubleshooting data entry errors.
  • Provides recommendations for data collection and evaluation plan creation.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Associates degree or two years’ college coursework in a related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years’ relevant experience.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
