General summary

Supports college assessment and compliance activities by maintaining assessment system operation and related data and reporting functions. Develops analyses and reports to assist I assessment, accreditation and compliance activities.

Major duties

  • Manages the college's assessment software system. Monitors database reliability and audits for accuracy. Serves as a liaison with software vendors. Implements new software functionalities. Analyzes and evaluates incoming resources for assessment system review.
  • Prepares, runs, and reviews standard and ad hoc reports ensuring accuracy of data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works with faculty and staff to develop data collection processes that are valid and reliable. Assists with data analysis and revision of data collection and analysis systems.
  • Provides accreditation support for units and programs within the college in preparation and presentation of data and assessment analysis.
  • Works across multiple colleges engaged in teacher preparation programs to support their assessment and accreditation responsibilities.
  • Develops documentation for assessment system training. Provides technical support and training to end-users.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years' relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in data collection, statistical reporting and database management.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
