General summary

Responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing and reporting market research.

Major duties

  • Designs, conducts, and coordinates effective research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Collects, analyzes, interprets, and creates detailed reports. Presents results to the department leadership team and external constituents.
  • Evaluates new program viability based on market demands, trends, and needs.
  • Profiles and analyzes competitor programs including value proposition, practices and pricing strategies.
  • Implements best practices related to market research integration into decision making strategies and plans processes.
  • Leads and manages research studies using outside agencies.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in market research strategy and analysis.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting/moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors and/or any number of elements.
