General summary

Develops and supervises behavior analytic interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Major duties

  • Develops, modifies and communicates behavior analytic intervention programs for clients. Performs initial assessments, modifies treatment protocols and submits progress notes and data to insurance companies.
  • Communicates with and trains parents and caregivers.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as required.
  • Supervises and trains direct-care staff.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year’s relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Required other

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
