General summary

Designs, develops and maintains web content management systems and related applications. Develops and deploys web content.

Major duties

  • Manages strategy, design, content, administration and reporting of the assigned websites. Collaborates with faculty and staff to create content and ensure the website is kept up to date. Analyzes website usage and makes recommendations to improve the user experience. Ensures that the website architecture and content meet accessibility and University standards.
  • Coordinates administration of applications used to manage department services and resources, including launching new features, adding users, providing training, troubleshooting issues, and managing select content.
  • Develops and implements brand standards and makes user experience recommendations for all assigned online platforms.
  • Collaborates with the marketing staff to develop and implement communication strategies to promote department services and resources.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience documenting technical and content standards.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
