General summary
Leads multiple projects and manages complex grants and situations with varying demands and needs. Utilizes established systems to over operations of the center.
Major duties
- Provides operational support to CRICPE including supervisor of staff, in-office support, event coordination and on-boarding of new staff.
- Monitors various grant budgets including salary costs, supply costs and staff and faculty effort projects. Ensures compliance with University and sponsoring agency requirements. Assists with budget development for new grant proposals.
- Serves as project manager for large projects and takes lead on logistical tasks such as planning annual steering committee meetings, the summer leadership institute and annual conference.
- Coordinates a national webinar series, including managing logistics, assisting with content and graphics, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Writes reports and develops project-related products such as brochures and monthly newsletters. Updates and manages web content.
- Serves as a liaison between the center and various officers on campus. Sponsors agencies, external stakeholders and key community partners.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years’ relevant experience.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Progressively responsible financial and project management experience.
Required other
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours.
- Some travel required.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
