General summary

Develops and implements multimedia communications and student success outreach initiatives for the Registrar's Office.

Major duties

  • Manages and executes a communication plan for the Registrar's Office.
  • Designs promotional material, press releases, Web and social media content, in compliance with the University's visual brand identity and government regulations and guidelines requirements.
  • Develops recommendations for communication initiatives and implements measures to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts. Monitors communication efforts and continuously refines and expands by incorporating data-driven elements.
  • Manages content on the various websites, to provide information that is accurate, up-to-date, comprehensive, and accessible.
  • Tracks student academic performance, time to degree and graduation eligibility. Collaborates with graduation auditors and academic advisors in utilizing information to improve retention and graduation rates.
  • Prepares and oversees the commencement ticketing system; building ceremonies, creating tickets, and determining graduate eligibility. Coordinates with Registrar's Office staff to ensure accurate and timely ticket reservations.
  • Create and maintain essential University documents.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years’ relevant experience.

  • Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally preformed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with minimal exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
