General summary
Manages daily operations of dual enrollment programs including direct student mentoring and coaching.
Major duties
- Serves as a liaison with dual-enrolled students, parents, high school counselors and principals, University faculty and staff, and campus services.
- Hires, trains, and supervises student success coaches and dual enrollment coordinator. Provides ongoing training and mentoring to support staff on campus, in high schools, and at other early college locations.
- Assists the department leadership in representing the University, especially in the areas of student retention, recruiting new partner institutions, and attending events to build these relationships. Assists in obtaining and administering grant funding.
- Ensures financial and budgetary accountability in the development of contracts and invoicing processes with partners.
- Assists the director in developing a research-based curriculum to support the college readiness of dual-enrolled students. Creates and manages content of online and hybrid soft skills courses for early college students.
- Recruits and advises dual enrollment students with the application process, course selection, and registration.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Three years’ relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
Required other
- Ability to travel in state.

- Experience working with or teaching dual enrolled and early college students.
Physical requirements
Light work with some physical demands such as continuously lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds, but rarely moving more than 25-50 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
