General summary

Provides support for various marketing and communication activities.

Major duties

  • Assists in digital communication to prospective and current students through the use of email campaigns.
  • Assists generating and advancing marketing content including photos, video, social media and print pieces.
  • Maintains website content.
  • Assists with on-campus communication including newsletters, press releases and email campaigns.
  • May assist with college-wide events
  • May assist with front of office coverage.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises student employees

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year's relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds. 

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
