General summary

Develops prospecting, recruiting and yield activities that support graduate enrollment goals.

Major duties

  • Directs and manages the graduate recruitment master communication plan. Develops, implements, measures and evaluates recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborates with University departments to ensure smooth transition throughout the enrollment process.
  • Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and admissions activities. Conducts research to identify methods to reach target groups and referral sources.
  • Manages the customer relationship management system for the Graduate College. Analyzes data and prepares reports. Monitors progress towards strategic planning goals.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to support digital marketing campaigns, enrollment strategies and overall effectiveness of recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Creates and coordinates recruitment events and special programs that involve faculty, alumni and current students in the recruiting process.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in college admissions and recruiting.
  • Experienced and proficient with recruitment technology platforms.
  • Experience in data collection, statistical reporting and database management.
  • Experience using and querying database and entering and tracking data.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds. 

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
