Program Manager Children's Trauma Assessment Center (Part-Time)

General summary
Oversees administrative functions of funded grants and the Children’s Trauma Assessment Center projects and contracts.
Major duties
- Manages independent contractors, including creating independent contracts and managing contracts for training, presentations and assessments.
- Processes bills, invoices, vouchers and travel expense forms for grants and contracts. Develops and monitors budgets and ensures compliance with University and other applicable requirements.
- Assists in writing grants and tracking the progress. Completes and submits reports.
- Represents the department to internal and external constituents. Provides input to departmental objectives and action plans. Responds to questions and requests from grant participants.
- Supervises staff and student employees.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Budget management experience.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
