General summary
Directs research and evaluation projects for the Children’s Trauma Assessment Center.
Major duties
- Designs and administers advanced research, statistical analysis and evaluative reports for University, state and federal grants and contracts for the center.
- Directs and trains on data collection, database maintenance and data quality.
- Serves as a liaison with federal and other grant and contract project officers to ensure compliance with evaluation requirements. Provides required written reports on a quarterly or annual basis.
- Ensures Human Subjects Institutional Review Board compliance.
- Serves as a key member of clinical and leadership teams, contributes to and authors peer reviewed publications and is a primary team member for community, University and other projects for the center.
- Supports staff in data collection, data entry and data analysis for a variety of grant projects.
- Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises staff.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Doctoral degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
Required other
- Licensure as a Master-level Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan, or progress toward earning license.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
