General summary
Provides institutional direction on the planning, implementation, maintenance, and strategic advancement of enterprise applications and their use throughout the institution. Ensures the effective use of applications and adherence to best practices. Aids in the implementation and integration of enterprise systems and related services.
Major duties
- Operates as an institutional advocate for the effective use of enterprise applications to support the administrative and academic functions of the University. Works with stakeholders to analyze and improve use cases, manage the implementation of solutions, and delivery of services.
- In cooperation with senior leadership, establishes and maintains application roadmaps that are responsive to and aligned with strategic, business, and institutional goals and priorities.
- Ensures information technology services and applications meet University goals through effective strategic planning, governance, and collaboration.
- Develops, coordinates, and delivers regular training programming to stakeholders and serves as a centralized point of contact for guidance and consultation.
- Manages relationships and builds partnerships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and support teams with the goal of accurately and efficiently identifying needs and solutions.
- Creates and maintains documentation related to configuration, integration, quality assurance, cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and other related areas.

Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team building skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex issues, plans and concepts to diverse populations.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
