General summary
Provides development and support of enterprise level software and applications. Assists with complex analysis and programming in support of enterprise level software applications.
Major duties
- Works with clients and senior team members to determine and analyze client needs for delivery of appropriate software solutions.
- Serves as a technical resource during the implementation and maintenance and support of current software solutions.
- Creates and maintains documentation for support purposes.
- Develops, writes, and tests programming code.
- Assists with database, systems and network administrators to design, implement and maintain enterprise application software solutions.
- Assists with all phases of software development life cycle.
- Assists with drafting and implementing project plans that deliver enterprise software applications in a timely manner and within budget.
- May assist with creating and maintaining end user, disaster recovery, help desk, production support, development standards, and historical reference documentation.

Required education
- Associate's degree or two years' college coursework in a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required experience
- One year's relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a technical position, such as help desk support, software support or maintenance, server support, or hardware support.

- Some college-level coursework in computer programming.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
