General summary
Plans, organizes, monitors and executes strategic projects for the Office of Government Relations and External Partnerships.
Major duties
- Responsible for project planning and execution, including timelines, budgets, rental agreements, logistics, onsite coordination, planning meetings, and related communications for Government Relations and External Partnership events.
- Develops marketing initiatives in collaboration with University marketing and communications guidelines. Creates and distributes print and digital materials, updates websites, manages social media accounts, coordinates promotional items, and produces digital newsletters.
- Drafts and manages correspondence, reports, and updates for partners and external audiences to ensure clear communication of University priorities.
- Develops and manages project plans, schedules risk assessment plans, communication plans and project status reports. Leads meetings and issues meeting minutes. Ensures effective management and follow up of open action items.
- Analyzes and improves operational processes to increase efficiency. Implements targeted solutions to support team objectives and creates process documentation. Organizes digital files and develops systems to ensure resources are easily accessible for team members.
- Collects and analyzes data on partnerships, advocacy efforts, and external engagements to measure impact and inform future strategies. Develops databases, dashboards, and tracking systems for departmental projects and utilizes data visualization and mapping tools to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Hires, trains, evaluates and supervises staff and student employees.”
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Project management experience.
Required other
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
