General summary

Develops and executes comprehensive marketing, recruitment and outreach strategies to promote the University, drive student recruitment, engage with alumni, and enhance community partnerships.

Major duties

  • Develops and implements marketing and communication strategies that align with the University’s goals and objectives.
  • Leads efforts to attract prospective students and their families by creating compelling marketing materials and organizing recruitment events.
  • Maintains and strengthens relationships with alumni to foster their continued engagement with the University.
  • Collaborates with industry partners and community organizations to enhance the University's presence and facilitate outreach initiatives.
  • Engages with diverse audiences, including prospective students and families, current students, industry partners, alumni, community members, and outreach partners.
  • Leads a team of staff and student employees to ensure the successful implementation of marketing and outreach initiatives.
  • Manages the budget allocated for marketing and outreach activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Utilizes data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.
  • Experience with recruiting, marketing and outreach activities.
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with a diverse population.
  • Budget management experience.

Required other

  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
