General summary
Develops and manages an online induction system for the Urban Teacher Residency Program (UTRP). Coordinates new induction cohorts.
Major duties
- Serves as project developer and manager for online UTRP induction system, tracking students for three years after they graduate.
- Develops and coordinates induction for the UTRP special education and leadership cohorts. Holds regular meetings with and coaches’ cohorts of newly graduated teachers within the program.
- Creates and maintains an online system to track new cohorts.
- Creates and converts intellectual property gathered from induction process.
- Supports department leadership and coworkers by updating and maintaining databases, running reports, and providing information to stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution
Required experience
- Five years' relevant experience
Required other
- Extensive knowledge of K-12 curriculum and instruction.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Office software skills, including word-processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
