General summary

Coordinates the data integration between the University's customer relationship management system and the student information system. Oversees and maintains data integrity.

Major duties

  • Prepares, runs and reviews standard and ad-hoc reports ensuring accuracy of data being interfaced within University systems.
  • Develops and manages deduplication processes within the University's customer relationship management system, student information system, and Perceptive Content.
  • Responds to inquiries, investigates, and resolves problems related to student records.
  • Maintains data integrity. Imports official documents from external vendors into the University's customer relationship management system.
  • Works with departments to develop data collection processes that are valid and reliable. Assists with data and system analysis, and the revision of data collection.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and ensures the data integrity by using Cognos reporting tool. Reviews student information system validation tables and recommends modifications.
  • Develops documentation for system processes. Provides technical support and training for end-users.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Experience with using and querying databases and entering and tracking data.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
