General summary

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and outreach activities, strategies to recruit, admit, and enroll students to graduate programs. Collaborates with undergraduate programs within the college to support enrollment efforts.

Major duties

  • Develops, plans and oversees the execution of all college graduate enrollment events. Directs and coordinates communication schedules, outreach initiatives, and calling campaigns to support enrollment objectives. Administers the college's Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Oversees the entry and management of prospect data, implements data-driven solutions, and continuously refines communication and outreach strategies.
  • Develops, implements and oversees strategic plans, policies and procedures to recruit graduate students. Analyzes and synthesizes enrollment data to identify and implement best practices for recruitment and outreach.
  • Prepares reports and monitors progress toward strategic enrollment goals. Establishes, cultivates, and maintains collaborative partnerships with University offices, departments, and external stakeholders. Serves on college and university leadership committees related to recruitment and outreach.
  • Collaborates on career services and professional development activities for graduate students throughout the college and provides direction to student employees.
  • Collaborates with marketing and advising teams to create content for marketing strategies and materials, including the college website and social media.
  • Oversees and coordinates visits for prospective graduate students, collaborating with different departments. Liaises with other units as needed to provide information on programs and visit opportunities.
  • Manages the scheduling, communication, and facilitation of VIP and special tours for the college. Works collaboratively with undergraduate programs.
  • Represents the College at recruiting events, on campus, off campus, and in virtual settings. Serves as a college representative on various leadership committees.
  • Develops and delivers presentations to diverse audiences.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.
  • Experience relating to student recruitment and enrollment strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Required other

  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
