General summary

Manages office operations for campus housing and provides administrative support for housing services. Oversees student staff, coordinates access systems and maintenance requests, and manages resident billing. Serves as a primary point of contact for students, families, and University personnel, addressing inquiries and concerns with a focus on customer service.

Major duties

  • Manages daily office operations by coordinating administrative functions and maintaining a professional and organized environment. Updates internal systems, processes maintenance requests, and responds to inquiries via email and phone.
  • Provides customer service by addressing questions and concerns from students, families, and University personnel. Enforces office policies and ensures effective communication across stakeholders.
  • Manages access and facilities processes by issuing keys, maintaining electronic access systems, and updating key inventory. Coordinates maintenance and pest control scheduling, processes work orders, and handles key core requests.
  • Oversees resident billing for facility fees and utilities, ensuring accurate charges and communication. Maintains records and communicates with residents regarding inspections and billing responsibilities.
  • Facilitates communication among team members and ensures adherence to workplace standards and expectations.
  • Supervises student employees by hiring, training, scheduling, and providing performance feedback.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required experience

  • Three years' relevant experience.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
