General summary

Coordinates and assists with the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns. Assists in planning and executing alumni engagement events, fundraising campaigns, and stewardship efforts.

Major duties

  • Collaborates with stakeholder teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with the University’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitors and reports marketing campaign data.
  • Participates in the development and execution of marketing research, including surveys, focus groups, and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborates with the broader marketing team to maintain brand consistency and ensure cohesive messaging across all University communications.
  • Supports departmental administrative tasks, including budget tracking, project management, scheduling, voucher preparation, and donor event logistics.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years' relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience creating engaging content for a variety of audiences and platforms.
  • Proficient in marketing technologies, including email marketing platforms, content management systems, and social media management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
