General summary

Manages Operational functions and membership services for the University's athletic fundraising program. Handles member engagement, service coordination and administrative processes to enhance donor experience and program effectiveness.

Major duties

  • Leads donor communications through targeted messaging and engagement strategies that strengthen Bronco Athletic Fund member relationships and support annual giving goals.
  • Directs the creation and delivery of promotional and stewardship materials that communicate the value and impact of Bronco Athletic Fund membership while maintaining brand consistency and professional standards
  • Manages premium seating operations and donor benefit fulfillment, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver exceptional game-day experiences and ensure timely, high-quality stewardship that supports donor retention and engagement.
  • Coordinates complex data, reporting, and content requests to support donor relations, membership services, fundraising strategy, and departmental decision-making initiatives.
  • Leads Athletic Advancement acknowledgment and stewardship efforts through personalized donor outreach, including handwritten notes, emails, and phone calls, to strengthen relationships, increase engagement, and support long-term donor retention.
  • Leads donor engagement and special event logistics for Athletics and the Bronco Athletic Fund, coordinating communications, hospitality, stewardship activities, and on-site engagement to enhance the donor experience and strengthen relationships.
  • Mentors, trains, evaluates and supervises student employees

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year's relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a complex organization.

Required other

  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
