General summary
Provides data-driven analysis and reporting to inform institutional decision-making, with emphasis on enrollment management.
Major duties
- Designs, develops, tests, and delivers analytics solutions, including dashboards and ad hoc reports, using various tools to support decision-making and operational needs for senior leadership and functional users, with emphasis on enrollment management.
- Analyzes data and key metrics and prepares reports to provide insights to senior leadership, with emphasis on applicant lifecycle, enrollment trends, and market and competitor analysis.
- Collaborates with other units and project teams to improve business processes and resolve application issues related to data collection, integration, and access.
- Compiles and reviews data for various external surveys and reports.
- Participates in training and professional development to stay current with best practices and trends in business analytics and higher education.
Minimum qualifications

Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution, or a bachelor’s degree in a non-related field from an accredited institution combined with relevant experience.
Required experience
- Three years' relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills.
- Database programming experience.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
