Non-bargaining employees–winter closure
- Winter closure period: Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, through Monday, Jan. 2, 2017. Note: the winter closure period is inclusive of the following non-bargaining recognized holidays: Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, and New Year's Day, Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.
- WMU will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.
- Offices that may remain open during closure:
- Bernhard Center
- Development and Alumni Relations
- Lawson Ice Arena
- West Hills Athletic Club
- Offices that will remain open 24 hours per day, seven days a week during closure:
- Department of Public Safety
- Power Plant
Important notes:
- Some employees, not assigned to the offices listed above, may be required to work because of designated tasks. These employees will be notified by their supervisors as soon as possible.
- Employees who are required to work on closure days will be provided with alternative time off at a later date, as arranged by their supervisor.
