International Festival at WMU
Take a trip around the world—without leaving Michigan—to enjoy some of the music, foods, fashions and traditional dances of different cultures by attending Western Michigan University’s Annual International Festival.
First held in 1989, the popular event features WMU international student organizations who offer a glimpse in to their home cultures through cultural display tables, dance and music performances, fashion and food. The festival attracts about 7,000 students and community members each year.
International Festival is hosted by the Haenicke Institute for Global Education's International Student Activities.
