April 1 deadline for international development funding for faculty
Western Michigan University faculty are invited to apply for funding to support projects that improve international education at the University through the International Education Faculty Development fund administered by the Diether H. Haenicke Institute for Global Education. The maximum award is $1,200 and cannot exceed 50 percent of the total project budget. Application deadlines for each academic year are Nov. 1 and April 1 (via email submission) for travel and projects that occur within the following 12 months. Award announcements will be made approximately two weeks after each deadline.
Funding is available through Article 40.4 of the WMU-AAUP contract for research and other activities that support the University's internationalization goals. Comprehensive eligibility and application information is accessible on the Haenicke Institute IEFDF webpage.
