Active Shooter and Workplace Violence Response Training

Two training sessions focused on the prevention of workplace violence are being offered. Cam Vossen, emergency management administrator, and Sgt. Andrew Bachmann, WMU Public Safety, will lead sessions on best practices and responses to violence in the workplace and active shooter situations. To assist with scheduling, identical sessions will be offered from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. in rooms 1040-50 Fetzer Center. Beverages and light snack will be provided at each training session.

Attendance for each session is limited to a maximum of 40 persons. To assist with headcounts, please R.S.V.P. at the link below by Monday, Jan. 23.

The Office of Academic Affairs is sponsoring this important training and discussion. Supervisors are encouraged to accommodate staff participation.
