Shannon McMorrow
I grew up in Kalamazoo and lived in 5 different states and 2 different countries before
relocating back to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2016. I came home to West Michigan for the
opportunity to join WMU as faculty to help start our Master of Public Health program and to be
near family. I love being part of the WMU community because of our wonderful students,
supportive colleagues, and so many opportunities to participate in the great global and
international work going on across the university.
Fun Fact:
I celebrated my 20th birthday in Europe, 30th in Africa, and 40th in South America; and have high hopes of getting to Australia and Asia to mark future decades.
