Dr. Anderson Hagler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of World Religions and Cultures at Western Michigan University. Anderson received his PhD in history from Duke University in 2022. He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Ethnohistory, The Americas: A Quarterly Review of Latin American History, Slavery & Abolition, and Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Latin American History.
