Sergeant First Class Alicia Bell

Sergeant First Class Alicia Bell is the Michigan Army National Guard recruiter assigned to Western Michigan University. She enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard in 2008 and has served in a variety of leadership and operational roles, including military police, culinary specialist, funeral honors, recruiting and retention, and marketing. These experiences have given her a broad understanding of military service and the many opportunities available to soldiers. Passionate about mentoring and developing future leaders, Sergeant First Class Bell works closely with WMU students to explore educational benefits, leadership development, ROTC opportunities and career paths within the Michigan Army National Guard. She is committed to helping each student find the path that best supports their personal, academic and professional goals. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, giving her firsthand insight into balancing higher education with military service.
