Discovery Day

Every Wednesday and Thursday, Sep 21- Dec 1.

Experience what it is like to be a cadet for a day. Visit our freshman ROTC class and participate in the leadership lab. Different subjects are taught every week. Meet instructors, cadets, and learn about scholarship opportunities.

ROTC Summer Leadership Camp 

Pre-registration for Aug 2023 camp open.

The ROTC Summer Leadership Camp provides high school aged students the ability to experience three days conducting military-like activities with like-minded peers, mentored by senior ROTC cadets and cadre. 

You will receive:

  • At least three personal leadership evaluations
  • Test of your physical abilities
  • Opportunity to see if ROTC is for you
  • Information about scholarship opportunities

Open House Morning Physical Training

6:30 am the morning of any Open House 

What a better way to start your day of discovery at WMU than to join us for morning physical training. You will be able to participate in physical training sessions monitored by Army instructors and lead by senior cadets. You will feel like a member of the group as you are challenged to train to the standard.

Rappel Day

Sep 17, 2022.

10 am - 2 pm 

Enjoy the thrill and challenge of rappelling from the three different walls at WMU's Army ROTC rappel wall. This event is open to the community. Regardless of your intent to participate in ROTC, you and your friends are welcome to rappel. Waivers are required and a parent or guardian must sign if under 18. Register to request your waiver and location information.
