Jeffrey I. Werner, aged 60, of Grand Rapids, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Helen Werner. He is survived by his wife, Karlene; children, Shannon (Laura) Kirshenbaum of Worcester, MA, Allison (Brett) Watson of Omaha, NE; sister, Judy (Jack) Gibson of Marshfield, WI; also many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Rev. R. Louis Stasker presiding. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. There will be a wake Sunday, from 7 to 10 p.m. at McFaddens Restaurant, 58 Ionia Ave. SW.
