Dr. Muchmore presents twice at convention
Feb. 6, 2014

Dr. James Muchmore, a faculty member at Western Michigan University's Department of Teaching, Learning and Educational Studies, recently co-presented two papers at the Annual Convention of the National Council for Teachers of English last November (2013). The convention, which was held in Boston, Massachusetts, is where leading English language arts educators from pre-K through university levels connect with their professional colleagues.
Dr. Muchmore’s first presentation, “From the printed page to the digital state: Engaging Learners by Merging Critical Readings of Classical Texts with Social Media Performance(s)” was co-authored with Elaine G. Sayre and Kathleen Thom. Dr. Muchmore’s second presentation, “The once and future audience: Exploring the role of real and imagined audiences in shaping students’ understanding of classical literature” was co-authored with Elaine G. Sayre.
