Optometrist Named President of State Association
Vision Clinic optometrist, Dr. Matthew Johnson, has recently been named president of the Michigan Optometric Association.
Founded in 1896, the Michigan Optometric Association was created to provide leadership for the development of optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care for patients in the state of Michigan.
Dr. Johnson provides comprehensive low vision care and also plays a key role in the instruction of Department of Blindness and Low Vision Studies graduate students. This unique combination of health care, clinical education and community service is a distinction offered by the College of Health and Human Services through all of the Unified Clinics.
