Adult Clinic

The Adult Clinic at Western Michigan University is a community enrichment program where student occupational therapists serve adults who have diagnoses that impair functioning. Student clinicians are supervised by a licensed occupational therapist. Enrichment clinics are offered each semester.

The focus of the Adult Clinic is to provide OT student facilitated evaluation and intervention from a holistic perspective to assist clients in achieving their highest level of safety, occupational performance, and well-being.  

Some diagnoses of adults who attend this clinic include: 

  • Stroke 

  • Brain Injury 

  • Spinal Cord Injury 

  • Orthopedic Injuries 

  • Dementia 

  • Parkinson's
