2026 High School Counselor Brunch

We are excited to host high school counselors from southwest Michigan on the WMU campus. Join us in Valley Oaks, our newest residence hall for first-year students —and learn more about Western to help advise your students. 

Wednesday, Sept. 23
8 a.m. check-in

Check-in will take place in Valley Oaks. Coffee and breakfast pastries will be available. 

At the event, you will: 

• Connect with WMU staff and academic colleges.
• Experience the newest on-campus residence hall while we share admissions and campus updates.
• Enjoy lunch at Valley Dining, where you can choose from multiple venues.
• Special highlights from the Haworth College of Business and the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Note: Due to space limitations, we ask that each high school limit to one attendee only. 

Parking

Parking for the WMU Counselor Brunch will be available in Lots 81 and 87 adjacent to the Valley Dining Center. Additional parking lots 52 and 89 at the base of Valley 1 is also available.  For a parking map of campus, click here.
