Counselor Brunch

2025 High School Counselor Brunch

We are excited to host high school counselors from southwest Michigan on the WMU campus. Join us in the WMU Student Center—designed to connect the lines between the classroom and student life—and learn more about Western to help advise your students. 

Tuesday, Sept. 16
7:30 a.m. check-in

Check in will take place in the main floor lobby of the WMU Student Center (second floor). Coffee and breakfast pastries will be available. 

At the event, you will: 

• Be welcomed by President Russ Kavalhuna, who joined WMU in July.
• Connect with WMU staff and academic colleges.
• Experience the welcoming environment of the student center while we share admissions and campus updates.
• Enjoy lunch at Student Center Dining, where you can choose from multiple venues.

Parking

Parking for the WMU Counselor Brunch will be available in Lot 41 (behind Sangren Hall) adjacent to the WMU Student Center.  For a parking map of campus, click here.
