2023 High School Counselor Brunch

We are excited to host you on the WMU campus on Friday, September 8. Join us to see the new Student Center and Dining Facility—designed to connect the lines between the classroom and student life—and learn more about Western to help advise your students. During the event, you will experience our recent campus renewal first-hand, including the student center, central campus landscaping and other building improvements. If you have previously been to the WMU Main Campus, this is your chance to see our campus makeover!

At the event, you will:

Connect with WMU staff in the heart of campus: our new student center
Experience the welcoming environment of the student center ballroom while we share fall 2023 enrollment details and updates to the application process for 2024
Learn about the transformational and record-setting Empowering Futures Gift which has changed the way we offer student support
Enjoy brunch in the new dining center where you can choose from multiple venues
Interact with academic college representatives and learn program highlights

Registration is closed for the September 8, 2023 Counselor Brunch.

Check-in and agenda

Check-in for this event will begin at 7 a.m. on the main floor (second floor) lobby of the Student Center at, 1903 W. Michigan Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008, on Western Michigan University's main campus.

7 a.m. Check-in, light breakfast, and academic college showcase
8:15 a.m. Welcome and introductions
8:30 a.m. Presentations and updates regarding the application, scholarships, financial aid, and student support services.
11 a.m. Brunch in the dining center; optional campus tours

Parking

Parking for the WMU Counselor Brunch will be available in Lot 41 (behind Sangren Hall), Lot 68 and Lot 69, adjacent to the WMU Student Center. For a parking map of campus click here.
