Here is a list of steps to prepare for your enrollment at WMU.

- Explore your major.
Understand how classes transfer
- Review our transfer credit policies.
- Utilize online course equivalencies and transfer guides.
- Ask an academic advisor questions about your transfer planning.
Apply for admission
- Submit an admissions application.
- Request that official transcripts from every college you’ve attended be sent to the Office of Admissions.
Apply for scholarships
- Discover scholarship opportunities and review deadlines for competitive and departmental awards. Submit your most recently updated transcript to the Office of Admission for scholarship purposes.
Complete financial aid steps
- Print the WMU Student Financial Aid Application Checklist for your reference.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon as possible after January 1.
