Employer has trouble logging into their account

If an employer calls with trouble logging into their Handshake account:

  1. Search for them in Handshake. If you don't find the company profile then they need to create a new company profile. If they are not comfortable creating their own company profile you can create it manually.
  2. If you find the company profile, but not the contact account, they need to create their contact account and join their existing company profile. If they are not comfortable creating their own contact account, you can create it manually.
  3. If you do find their company profile and contact account in Handshake, or if they tell you that they're having trouble with their password, they will need to contact Handshake directly. Their account isn't "owned" by WMU, rather, it is "owned" by Handshake. By the employer emailing support@joinhandshake.com, Handshake can work through their login troubles and/or retrieve password information.
